Proof of I.D

"On arriving at The Empire State Building I gave the cashier the voucher that I purchased prior to us going to New York. The cashier asked for I.D of which I didn't have any on me st the time as I had left my passport in the Hotel Safe as ... I didn't want to loose it. So she refused to exchange them for me. I could have paid cash and got in without I.D. As you can imagine I wasn't too happy. It's was a good job it wasn't busy and we didn't que. we returned the next day with I.D. I did look on the paper work and no where on that did it say take I.D."
